Stussy Spring 2009 Lookbook

Today we can give you a first detailed look at the upcoming Stussy Spring 2009 collection. In recent years Stussy has certainly had a comeback, and especially their collaborative projects of high profile, have put the classic brand back on the map. Nevertheless the regular Stussy seasonal collections still offer a wide range of strong basics and that is no different for Spring 2009.
Dr. Dre - Topless Radio Rip (feat. T.I. & Nas)
Nero - Houstatlantavegas (feat. Drake)

Nero took much faster than I expected to finish this song, but I cant say it;s completely surprising because Nero’s grind its crazy. His rendition is a solid effort, if you been enjoying his previous work, then you should be a fan of this one. Side note: who else cant stop listening to So Far Gone? I know I cant.
Jay Rock - All My Life (rmx) f. The Game, Gorilla Zoe & Busta Rhymes

New track from California native Jay Rock where he remixs his track “All My Life” which originally had Lil Wayne on it.

Young Jeezy - Welcome Back
Amanda Diva - Neon

I really enjoyed Amanda Diva’s last joint entitled “Rebels” but I think I’m diging this one even more. “Neon” from her upcoming project Spandex, Rhymes & Soul, dropping in March is a soulful, playful joint which has the Diva using a melodic flow as she rides the beat. Download the track below and get ready for some new material.
CurT@!n$ - Black Folks

With all the beefs going on in Hip Hop right now it seems lost on lots of rappers that February happens to be Black History month. The MC from New York CurT@!n$ comes through on the blogosphere with some much needed substance. While the picture above has Curtains looking like a young Malcolm X, the song below entitled “Black Folks” from the upcoming mixtape The Great Adventures of Dope Boy C: Dope For President has him sounding like an updated Chuck D. Check out the track below.
Kid Cudi x Snoop Dogg - Dog After Drak
Consequence - I Hear Footsteps

GOOD records own Consequence returns to the scene with a new track produced by Statik Selektah entitled “I Hear Footsteps”. While the Cons is working on his new album this joint wont be featured on it. This gem will go on Grand Theft Auto : The Lost and Damned EP. All of my gamers know the deal. Download the track below.
Kanye West - MTV’s Mixtape Monday
Drake - Congratulations

Drake is fresh off of releasing what can only be described as an extremely successful mixtape, judging from its download numbers, entitled So Far Gone. Much like his Young Money mate Lil Wayne, Drizzy refuses to rest on his laurels and releases another track entitled “Congratulations”. Over a Coldplay sample, Drake is feeling extra confident, and really who can blame him. This song will be on the CD version of So Far Gone. Download the track below.
Joe Budden - Blood On The Wall (Prodigy Diss)

Besides maybe 50 Cent, Joe Budden has had more beef with rappers then almost anyone else that I can think of. More then a year ago Prodigy made some disparaging remarks about the New Jersey MC and now we get the full response from Joey and truthfully he goes in. Budden dedicates the last verse of “Blood On The Wall” to the rhyme veteran addressing everything from P’s prior beefs to his questionable sanity. Ironically the bone chilling beat sounds like something Prodigy would lace. This track will be on the log anticipated Padded Room coming soon.
Young Money - Every Girl (Behind The Scenes)
Usugrow x Vans 2009 Spring/Summer Collection

The dark illustrated style of Japanese artist USUGROW alongside Vans will culminate in a three-sneaker release next month. In a pack that features the SK-8 HI, AV Low and Half-Cab, the pack embodies many of USUGROW’s iconic traits. The sole use of black comes to the forefront with little contrast offered. Embroidered motifs make up the sides with his cryptic imagery seen along the side of the Vulcanized banding. The collection will begin hitting retailers in early March.
Vans 2009 St. Patrick’s Day Authentic

With St. Patty’s Day a month away, Vans release their tribute to the typically beer-filled festivity on their low-top Authentic model. The iconic use of four-leaf clovers is flipped to feature skulls at each leaf. The usual Vans flag tab has also been given a make-over with a tribute to Ireland in a tri-colored tab. As you would imagine, the majority of the shoe is decked out in green from the upper to the traditional waffle sole. Look for these to hit your local Vans dealer while FLAUGE currently has a run of sizes in stock.
Mishka NYC Spring 2009 Collection Lookbook

Mishka presents their new Spring 2009 Collection Lookbook. The line is entitled “Hallelujah”and takes the same graphic and colorful approach that we are used to see from Mishka. One big difference to previous seasons is certainly the big offering of womens styles in the new collection. The new MA-1 Jacket and the “Keep Watch” leggings are for us the stand-out items of the new season.
Kanye West feat. Kid Cudi - “Welcome to Heartbreak”
KANYE WEST "Welcome To Heartbreak" Directed by Nabil from nabil elderkin on Vimeo.
Love him or hate him, Kanye West is the most eccentric, ingenious, and ambitious artist of our time. Yesterday, Mr. West premiered his new video for “Welcome to Heartbreak” via his blog — and it doesn’t disappoint. Using an innovative pixelated style (no, that isn’t your internet acting up), the video practically overwhelms the viewer with an explosion of intense color and pop art-inspired visual effects. Only ‘Ye knows where his creativity will take him next, but it’s certainly fun for the rest of us to sit back and watch. Bow in the presence of greatness.
Nike Football - そのワンプレーで火をつけろ
It looks like Nike Football in Japan have started a campaign called “そのワンプレーで火をつけろ” which literally translated means “Ignite with one play”. The four month long campaign is based on the essence of football/soccer which relys on 4 important skills, First Touch, Close Control, Speed and Agility. Here is the preview of the campaign with players explaining the 4 skills and some footage of commercials. The last commercial is dramatic and executed very well. Via Sophnet
